Minimum Age:

25 Years

Underage Driver Fee

Persons ranging from 21 to 24 can become eligible to hire a vehicle by paying a daily fee of US$10.  Hirer must have driver’s license for a minimum of two years.

Driver’s License

Valid St. Kitts & Nevis driver’s license at least 2 years old, or temporary driver’s license in the case of visitors.

Additional Driver

Hirer is required to pay a daily fee of US$5 not exceeding US$50 per driver.

Collision Damage

Hirer may pay a daily fee of US$13 for collision damage waiver.  This includes transit by sea between any established port in St Kitts and Nevis.  This cover carries a deductible of US$500.

Limited Third Party Liability Coverage

Coverage carries a deductible of US$950 or the Hirer may pay a fee of US$5 per day as a waiver of this deductible.

Personal Accident Insurance

Hirer may pay a daily fee of US$10 for personal accident insurance.  This carries a deductible of US$1000.

Minimum Charge

One day [24 hours] with each additional hour 1/6 of the daily rate.

Island Enhancement Fee

Hirer is required to pay a daily fee of US$1.50.

Airport Access Fee

Hirer is required to pay an access fee of US$7.50 for all rentals originating at the Robert L. Bradshaw Int’l Airport.

Gasoline

Not included in rates but a Gasoline deposit is required.

Value Added Tax

17% of basic rental charge and incrementals.

Payments

All estimated charges payable in advance.

Payment Methods

Cash, Traveler’s Cheques, VISA, Mastercard, Credit & Debit Cards.

Accidents

Must be reported immediately to the nearest police station and TDC Thrifty Rentals Ltd.

Traffic Violations

Hirer is liable for all traffic violations.

Vehicles are not for off-road use.  Conditions and rates are subject to change without advance notice. Rates are in USD Currency.
